Andrey Birzhin’s company Glorax Development (part of Glorax Group) announces the start of Golden City project construction in Saint Petersburg. In alluvial areas of Vasilyevsky Island there will be six blocks of residential and commercial real estate with a total area of 450 thousand square meters.
Golden City is one of the largest projects of the company. First stage of realization assumes the construction of the sixth block. It will contain two freestanding residential housing with variable number of storeys (from 7 to 18 floors) with a total area of 56 thousand square meters. There will be 573 apartments with an area of 26-115 square meters and parking for 319 cars. Construction of the first phase will be completed in the first quarter of 2020.
Realization of the whole project will take 7,5 years, till the end of 2024. Investment if project will be about 30 billion roubles. Financial partner of the project is “Saint-Petersburg” bank.
Due to the unique architectural concept Golden City should become the new marine facade of Saint Petersburg. The architectural concept was developed by the KCAP+Orange Architects (Netherlands) consortium; the Russian bureau “A. Len” was responsible for the project’s adaptation (Saint Petersburg, Russia).
Complex with original European architecture in 2016 won the international award European Property Awards in the category “Housing construction in Russia”; it was voted “Premiere of the year” by Urban Awards and also received a high rating at the investment exhibition MIPIM forum in 2016 in Cannes.
