Glorax Group team competed in Titan Race

Glorax Life running team tried its strength in the Titan Race held in the Moscow Area city of Bronnitsy last Sunday.

10km track with over 570 runners was one of the most eventful ones. This particular distance was successfully covered by the members of Glorax Team.

Let us recall that Glorax Life corporate running club was founded in October, 2016. Since then the team competes for the Company in different running tournaments and trains under the guidance of professionals (the trainings take place twice a week). The management of Glorax Group supports the sporting ardor of their employees both on organizational level and in person. Aleksandr Andrianov, Director General of the Company, is a member of the running team himself.

“Plenty of action, overcoming, focus on results is our indisputable corporate value. In this regard, joint sporting exercises and participation in competitions correlate ideally and contribute to teamwork at the office. It’s this informal socializing, that makes it easier to understand each other, to unlock each one’s potential, to develop interpersonal skills, to motivate and increase overall performance. This is a story of team work, strategy, clear goals and self-organization. On top of that, we want our employees to be healthy and positive,” notes Aleksandr.

Vasiliy Suvorov, the head of IT-department and the most experienced runner on the team, scored the best time (0:43:35) among his teammates from Glorax Group during the Titan Race on February 5. “I have discovered running several years ago and I continue to improve my skills. It only seems like an easy sport, just put on trainers and run, but it has its own secrets, technique and rhythm. My goal is to train my stamina and to keep improving my time score. Even when you do well, you always want to be better,” says Vasiliy.

This is the second race for the corporate team in 2017. The first one took place at the end of January in St. Petersburg during The Road of Life Winter Marathon.
