SWIMMER OF GLORAX LIFE SETS A NEW WORLD AND EUROPEAN RECORD AT THE XXVI RUSSIAN OPEN SWIMMING CUP

On November 22-24, the XXVI Russian Open Swimming Cup in the Masters category was held at the Palace of Water Sports of the city of Saransk. There were no strict age restrictions in the competitions – swimmers from 25 to 95+ years old could participate in the races.

Our professional athlete, a member of the Glorax Life team Andrei Kurnosov showed excellent results, won a whole scattering of medals and set new records of the world, Europe and Russia:

Relay 4×50 meters, the “crawl” technique – 1.30.83 (stage of A. Kurnosov – 22.34). A new record of the world, Europe and Russia.

The distance of 50 meters, the “crawl” technique – 22.88. A new record of Russia.

The distance of 50 meters, the “butterfly” technique – 25.36. Gold.

The distance of 100 meters, the “crawl” technique – 52.97. Silver.

The distance of 100 meters, complex swimming – 59.70. Silver.

Such competitions are held with to promote a healthy lifestyle and active longevity, in addition, professional athletes can improve in this category. The competitions also contribute to the strengthening of friendly ties between sports clubs in Russia and countries of the world.

Andrey Kurnosov has been a member of the Glorax Life team since 2017 and during this time he brought many medals and awards to the team’s piggy bank, including gold in the European Championship-2018 in the Masters category. Last year, the “Masters” Swimming Federation recognized Andrei Kurnosov as the best swimmer in the “Active Mastery” category.
