Glorax Life team ascended the peak of Mount Kazbek
The climbing team of Glorax Life (a part of the Andrei Birzhin’s Group of Companies) climbed the easternmost of the Caucasus – Mount Kazbek with a height of 5,033.8 meters in the Baltic system. Due to adverse weather conditions, instead of the planned 5 days, the team was forced to climb for 2 and a half days.
The team members made only two stops throughout the route: the first time there was an overnight stay at an altitude of 3000 meters, the second time there was a rest at an altitude of 3800 meters, and at night the tourists went to storm the peak. Climbing to the top took 6 hours. According to the climbers themselves, it was possible to climb in such a short time due to well-coordinated work and experience of the team.
The team also plans to conquer the mountain peak of the Chon-Alai Range – Lenin Peak (7134 meters). In 2016, climbers of the Glorax Life made their ascent on the mountain peak of Elbrus with a height of 5643 meters, and in 2018 they climbed the summit of Mont Blanc – a height of 4810 meters.
