Glorax Life swimmer wins 5 medals at the Russian Nationals
Member of the Glorax Life team and professional athlete Andrey Kurnosov showed good results at the 29th Russian Swimming Championships in the Masters category, having won 5 medals. He conquered the following categories:
50m FREESTYLE – 23.98
4×50m FREESTYLE – RUSSIAN NATIONAL RECORD (23.42)
4×50m FREESTYLE MIXED (23.95)
4×50m COMBINED RELAY (BREAST STROKE 30.03)
4×50m COMBINED MIXED RELAY (BREAST STROKE 29.92)
“This tournament was very difficult for two reasons. First, the competition was a dress rehearsal for me before the European Championships, so I competed without reducing the training load. Secondly, six weeks ago I seriously injured my left arm (it was a radial bone fracture and a radiocarpal ligament rapture); thus, it became quite difficult for me to prepare and compete at the event. Now my physical and mental body state is essentially normal and the preparation continues,” – said Andrey.
Andrey Kurnosov has been a member of the Glorax Life team since 2017. During this time, he added many medals and awards to the team’s collection, including a gold medal in the 2018 European Championships in the Masters category. At last year end, the Masters Swimming Federation recognized Andrey Kurnosov as the best swimmer in the Active Skills category.
