Glorax Life Swimmer Wins 5 Medals at International Tournament


October 04, St. Petersburg hosted international open swimming tournament SUPERMASTERS 2020 held for the Masters category. Participants included swimmers aged 25 years and over.

Andrei Kurnosov, a professional sportsman and a member of Glorax Life team, showed excellent results, winning an impressive range of medals. In the absolute championship among all the participants, he won the Bronze Cup by the sum of points at all distances.

50 meters distance, crawl style – gold medal.

50 meters distance, butterfly style – silver medal.

50 meters distance, breaststroke style – silver medal.

50 meters distance, backstroke style – bronze medal.

100 meters distance, complex style – silver medal.

“The challenge of this competition was about the density of the races: the average break between the races was only 20–25 minutes. I was under load during this tournament, that is without stopping my training cycle. I’m satisfied with the result, and I’m grateful to Glorax Life team for their support. Now I’m actively preparing for the main event of this year, the Cup of Russia, to be held in November,” said Andrei Kurnosov, commenting on his results.

Andrei Kurnosov has been a member of Glorax Life team since 2017. During this time, he has won numerous medals and awards for the team, including a gold medal at the 2018 European Championship in the Masters category. By the results of 2019, the Masters Swimming Federation named Andrei Kurnosov the best swimmer in the Active Skill category.
