Glorax Life Participates in the largest Russian Race

The largest marathon in Russia, Moscow Marathon, took place on September 20. Glorax Life team (part of Andrei Birzhin’s Glorax Group) took part in this massive running event, covering a distance of 42.2 km along the capital’s central streets and embankments.

The route passes through downtown Moscow: along Moskva River embankments, the Garden and Boulevard rings, across the Crimean bridge, along Tverskaya Street and Teatralny Proezd, and by the Kremlin walls. The annual marathon attracts thousands of runners and healthy lifestyle fans. Moscow Marathon is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The 42.2 km and 10 km routes have been certified by this reputable organization since 2013.

Alexander Ionov on Glorax Life team successfully covered the marathon distance in 3:54:47: “Moscow Marathon is a real magnet for runners preparing for it during the whole summer. Everything in this race is inspiring: the amazing distance, the huge number of runners, the atmosphere of unity and a sports festival. I am happy to have run this race on Glorax Life team. Way to go for us!”

As a reminder, Glorax Life sports team was created in October 2016. The team includes runners, triathletes, swimmers, powerlifters, bodybuilders and mountaineers representing it at various sports tournaments of Russian and international level. The team has many awards and 3 conquered peaks on record (Mont Blanc, Kazbek, and Elbrus).
