GLORAX LIFE RUNNING TEAM TOOK PART IN THE MOSCOW HALFMARAFON

The corporate running team Glorax Life (a part of Andrei Birzhin’s group of companies) participated in the country’s largest 21 km run – Moscow half marathon. On May 19, hundreds of thousands of joggers and supporters of a healthy lifestyle from 20 cities of Russia ran their distance along a picturesque route in the renovated “Luzhniki”.

This year, organizers offered three distances – 5, 10 and 21.1 km. The members of the Glorax Life team, among whom were the first time runners, successfully overcame the selected distances and received a huge charge of emotions for further sports achievements. The corporate team of Glorax Life every year takes part in the Moscow half-marathon and every year the number of participants grows. Now the race was attended by more than 40 employees of the Glorax Group companies.

“We see how our initiative to create a direction that unites employees who live in sports, travel, and impressions is growing stronger every day. Just a year ago, about 20 employees gathered for the running starts at the same time, now we are talking about a huge team – more than 40 people. All share emotions and immediately plan the next joint starts. The Glorax Group employees are truly charged, positive and motivated. We can only be proud of such a team,” – commented on the participation in the Moscow half marathon Alexander Andrianov, CEO of the Glorax Group.

The Moscow Half Marathon, which takes place as a part of the All-Russian Race, was awarded the certificate of the Association of International Marathons and Runs. That is why the race received the status of international competitions, this year participants from 48 countries came to the start of the race.

Also worth noting is the scenic route of the half marathon, which also attracts many participants. The race took place along the embankments of the capital – Luzhnetskaya, Frunzenskaya, Prechistenskaya, Kremlin, Raushskaya and Kosmodamianskaya, so that along the way you could see many iconic sights, such as St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Kremlin. The route of 5 and 10 km distance ran along the Luzhnetskaya, Novodevichy and Savvinskaya embankments.
